Booking Terms and Conditions

SUNNY DEW VILLA, SANDY RIDGE, DAVENPORT, FLORIDA.

BOOKINGS

The booking form must be completed and signed by the party leader (the Client)  who must be age 21 years or over.  The person who signs the booking form certifies that he/she is authorised to agree the booking terms and conditions on behalf of all the persons included on the booking form, including those who may be substituted or added at a later date.  Bookings cannot be accepted from parties of young people under 21 years of age.  The Client must notify the Owner of any changes.  The accommodation cannot be sub-let, shared or assigned to any other than the persons named on the booking form.  Stays of 7 nights or less will incur an additional cleaning charge of £65.  The Villa sleeps up to 10 people and this number must not be exceeded.  The Owner does not permit smoking in the villa and no pets are allowed.

DEPOSIT AND PAYMENT

A non-refundable deposit of £100.00 per week booked will be required as soon as the booking is accepted.  The balance of your holiday must be paid 8 weeks prior to the start of your holiday.  If the booking is made within 8 weeks of departure full payment must be made at the time of the booking.

SECURITY DEPOSIT

A security deposit of £250.00 is required with all bookings and this amount must be paid with the final balance payment - 8 weeks before you travel.  This deposit will be returned to you once our Management Company have confirmed that the villa has been checked and everything is in order, usually within 21 days.

CANCELLATION

BY CLIENT :-  Any cancellation by the Client must be notified in writing to the Owner.

The following penalties will apply:-

More than 8 weeks prior to commencement of your holiday - Deposit only.
Less than 8 weeks prior to commencement of your holiday - 100%  of rental charge.

BY OWNER :-  In the unlikely event that circumstances beyond our control necessitate cancellation of the booking, we will refund any monies paid by the party leader (without interest, compensation or consequential loss of any kind).  The Owner reserves the right to cancel the booking if the balance payable is not received 8 weeks prior to departure.

BROCHURE DESCRIPTION

Whilst all information supplied on our website is deemed to be correct and to the best of our knowledge, it is understood that the information and photos supplied are for guidance purposes only and does not form part of any contract. The Owner or their Agents reserve the right to make any modifications deemed necessary.

FORCE MAJEURE

The Owner and their Representatives accept no responsibility whatsoever, and no compensation or any other payment will be made if any cancellation, or changes to the terms of the booking becomes necessary due to war or threat or war, riots, civil commotion, terrorist activities, industrial disputes, natural or nuclear disasters, fire, flood, adverse weather conditions, technical problems with transportation, closure or congestion of airports, alterations or cancellation of schedules by carriers, or any other events beyond their control.

RESPONSIBILITIES

The Client agrees to pay the full cost of any breakages, losses or damage to the property (the Owner’s Management Company will be the sole Arbitrators of causes of damage or loss) and to take good care of the property and leave it in a clean and tidy condition at the end of the holiday. To report any damage or loss immediately it is discovered to the Owner’s Management Company in Florida.  To permit the Owner or their Agents reasonable access to the property to carry out any maintenance if necessary.  Not to sublet or share the property except with persons nominated on the booking form.  To take all reasonable security measures to ensure the safety of the Clients and the Owner’s possessions.  No liability is accepted by the Owner for loss of main services of failure of appliances, nor for the consequences of the actions or admissions of persons who may control supply of mains services, nor the actions taken in the vicinity of the property by any authority over which there is no control by the Owner.

INSURANCE

The Owner does not accept any liability, damage or loss caused by any person or for any claim made as a result of this booking and/or the subsequent holiday. The Client is responsible for taking out adequate insurance policy (ies) to cover all risks.  This waiver is also applicable to people visiting the property as guests of the Client(s).

IT IS STRONGLY RECOMMENDED THAT CLIENT’S TAKE OUT THEIR OWN HOLIDAY INSURANCE TO COVER CANCELLATION FEES AND ANY OTHER LOSSES WHICH MAY OCCUR.

POOL SAFETY AND HEATING

Where rental homes have a private swimming pool that is heated, an additional charge of £125.00 per week will be levied if the Client requires this facility.  Client’s may use the swimming pool at their own risk.  Client’s must always observe the safety rules listed in the information and safety book held in the home.  Furthermore, neither the Owner nor Servants nor Agents will accept liability for any injury howsoever caused to the Client, any member of his/her party or visitor to the property as a result of the pool and property in general.

YOUR ARE SPECIFICALLY REQUIRED TO SUPERVISE CHILDREN IN AND AROUND THE POOL AT ALL TIMES.

ARRIVALS AND DEPARTURES

The property is available after 4p.m. on the day of arrival and must be vacated by 11a.m. on the day of departure.

Any information passed on by visitors to this site for example, customers completing on-line booking forms or submitting their e mail address will be used solely for the purpose of renting the villa.  The Owner will not pass your details on to any other agents or third parties whatsoever and will at all times respect the privacy of our Clients.
